Mountain Sky Rally is held at Iron Mountain Resort, 11 miles N.W. of Dahlonega, GA. The resort has full-hookup campgrounds, Primitive camping sites, cabins for rent, over 4,300 acres off roading area, UTV and side by side rentals, and a full-service restaurant. for more info visit www.ironmountainresort.com
ACTIVITIES
Bring your Harley, Goldwing, BMW, KTM, dirt bike, or whatever you ride, we will have routes for you. Other things to do...Hike the start of the Appalachian trail, visit several of the North Georgia wineries, fly fish the mountain streams, fine dine in Dahlonega, and tour several of the waterfalls in the area, Join us for free dinner Friday and Saturday night, a free happy hour sponsored by SkyMed Friday night, and motorcycle games, bonfire, and much much more... Slow race (paved), Slow race(on dirt) Saturday afternoon.
THE RIDING
Toss a leg over your machine, and point it any direction, you won't be disappointed. For those who came to leave some rubber on the twisty pavement, you must experience Wolf Pen Gap, Hwy 60 past the rock pile and up to Woody's Gap, 19 to Blood Mountain and Richard B. Russel scenic Hwy just to name a few. More of an Adv rider, enjoy some of the Chattahoochee National Forest roads, maybe a ride through Helton Creek and over to scenic Helen, Ga, or thru the beautiful Cohutta Wilderness. Ready for the extreme, Flatlands Rd, Wissenhunt OHV area, and Iron Mountains very own designed single track should be on your list.

ADV riding skills during the rally????
motowayz will be delivering Motorcycle Safety Foundation’s New Adventure Bike Rider Course which provides an enjoyable learning experience while providing the fundamental knowledge and skill for riding ADV & dual-sport bikes on unpaved surfaces. This is a full day class, offered on Friday & Saturday for the rally on site at Iron Mountain Resort. Each day is limited to 8 riders on first come, first serve basis. Training will be provided by motowayz, Founder Tom Nagle who is an AMA Grand Nat’l Cross Country& National Enduro series class champion and certified MSF & United States Motorcycle Coaching Association coach.
